Is SEO a bad choice as a long-term career

I've finished my 12th class and I am planning to join an SEO course. I asked a few people working in the IT industry and they told me that there is no career in SEO in the long run. Is this true?

There's nothing like "no career" in the long run. No, this is not true. SEO is a vast field and the techniques and strategies keep changing. You have to keep adapting to these and keep upgrading yourself. And also, the domain you work in changes your task and most of the time, you learn new ways for SEO.

There are different search engines and all the most popular search engines keep changing their algorithms to display results. So SEO is definitely not a bad idea in long term.

Hey Yemen, today SEO is a very broad field and offers many job opportunities to make a career. SEO career domain is very interesting and at the same time it is quite lucrative too. Thus, it not only attract college freshers but also people from unrelated and related fields such as Web Designers, Software Developers, Content Writers, SEO Copywriters, Social Media Marketers, Hardware Engineers etc.

An experienced SEO expert is always in demand. He may either be working on his own or is employed by a digital marketing agency or one of the good search engine optimization companies. The different aspects of SEO could be Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization, Keyword Research, Keyword Optimization, Content Marketing, Web Designing, Graphic Designing, Link Building, PPC Campaign etc.

So finally, I would say SEO is a really good career option and it has good career growth.
