Out of the two cloud related technologies, AWS and Azure, which one out of these two will have a more promising career?

AWS is considered to be a leader, but people say that Azure will overtake it?

Please suggest me which one should i follow?

The Cloud requirement is growing fast, so any certification will benefit for any future career path. Though, I would say AWS Certification is on high demand if you want to start your career in cloud and get a hands-on experience.

but if i target aws and in coming 5 or 10 year if azure takes over then what do you think how difficult it would be to switch?
listen there is no need to worry as what lies in future as if azure overtakes aws even though you will have your job as aws would need people to look after the things they have built.

AWS have a better promising career since most of the organizations having trusted system as AWS.
Azure maybe or may not be overtake it.

Its correct but as per the internet many people say that Azure carries a brand value and as its in 2nd its possible to beat AWS. that is why i wanted to be sure before heading towards anyone of these!
we can't say something for sure and considering the brand value AWS is also a big brand and they have better service as well where Azure is searching the space in market. On other hand most of the big organizations do not like to take risk for changing the technology until and unless they are not getting more than exceptional value.

AWS has entered the cloud field well before Azure and is one of the most fav. Though Azure has entered the cloud war later than AWS, it has made a significant mark in the cloud domain. Now going to the comparison,

AWS has the following pros over Azure:

  • Data is easily available
  • High Transfer Stability

Azure has the following cons:

  • Low Quality Support
  • Restrictive Platform

So according to me, AWS as a career will be more promising than Azure

Yes thats totally fine but i have a senior and he says that if i go for azure irrespective of all odds then in coming future i will have higher job opportunity and higher package as azure is going to gain market response

Azure for sure is going to overtake the market of cloud computing but it hardly matters as you will get job for both of them as aws now has 45% of market and azure has 10% so aws will need people to maintain things and azure will need people to grow. So choose any of the two hardly matters as you will be knowing about the technology.

according to many famous and popular critics like cnbc and others it is likely that azure will surpass aws.

Amazon lost share in the public cloud business in the fourth quarter, while Microsoft continued to gain momentum, according to research from KeyBanc analysts. hence its better you choose Azure as the career option.

Azure is integrating with a lot of aas including ml engines and chatbot platforms that too with modern web technologies support ... Azure is a clear winner.... Aws is more focused. To compete with azure it will have to count on OP where Google is already playing well

while these two are continually compared in a manner that suggest there must be one leading horse - the reality is different. In fact, we actually have the fortune of selecting the most attractive features from each provider, to enable a multi-cloud strategy and certainly azure is moving ahead in this list.

According to the current stats Customers love Amazon Web Services (AWS).  There is no doubt about that.  The segment earned a profit of more than $3 billion on revenues of more than $12 billion for the full year of 2016. That’s an increase from only a little less than $8 billion in revenues the year before. Hence i would say that you should go with AWS as its not going to loose the market in the coming near future!

AWS has more customers than Azure, that says a lot about it. People trust aws more.

I personally feel AWS is more worth the money.

Azure offers substantial support for hybrid clouds, where you can use your onsite servers to run your applications on the Azure Stack.  You can even set your compute resources to tap cloud-based resources when necessary. This makes moving to the cloud easy.

I feel this is a really cool feature and might take azure to a whole new level in future.

But otherwise both the courses would be very helpful.

Talking about future so none of them are going down any soon. The demand of Cloud computing architect will always be there and you will always have jobs for these positions.
You can pursue anyone depends on you,

Start with a certification and practice as much as you want.

AWS provides with a year free tier so that you can explore as much as you want to see how things work and again there are few thing which are charged but the cost incurred is very less.

Image result for aws or azure?

I found this on google and found it interesting not career wise but data wise.

Both of them are very similar. AWS has features that are not present in azure and Azure has fewatures that are not present in AWS.

Which is best, depends on your use case.

I think Azure is better than AWS because some features in Azure are better and are not in AWS. Some of those features are as follows:

Azure Visual Studio Online

Azure Site Recovery

Azure Event Hubs

Azure Scheduler

and HYBRID CLOUD!!!
can you please help me understand how hybrid cloud works?

Thank you

Yes both are in the same business but as AWS started first it is the leading one. Other reason is that it is Cheaper compared to rest.

AWS gives a 1 year free-tier and you can keep on experimenting before getting actually on-board. These factors make me say that AWS will be a better career option.

One of the biggest advantage of cloud computing is being able to deploy apps on different servers. And as a developer the PaaS serice has been very helpful.

i think azure's got the potential to overtake AWS

Hi, I have been working on AWS from the past 2 years. And I also keep a track of Azure to see how it is trying to be better than AWS. But i have never felt that i should be shifting to Azure from AWS even once and its mainly because of its features. I'd say AWS is better than Azure

Well the story remains the same in my case as well. I have an online store hosted on the Cloudways powered managed magento cloud hosting which is powered by AWS. The store is operational from last 2.5 years and in all these years I have never taught of switching to Azure. However, I do belief that Azure has a bright future ahead of it.

I would honestly prefer Azure because of their one feature, it excels in Hybrid Cloud Space-Organizations can integrate onsite servers with Cloud instances while AWS is yet strengthening its offerings to support Hybrid clouds.
