Hey @Bob, a bit of simple advice, you work for your own growth. The day you feel you have stopped learning and growing you quit.

There are many reasons for people switching their jobs and some of the common reasons are:

  • An offer of Higher Salary by a different company
  • Unhealthy Work Environment
  • Pressure
  • No personal growth
  • Better opportunity

There's is no ideal time period to switch jobs, you can switch the job when you think you are under any of the above circumstances.

Switching company after 2 years is better. In 2 years, you have learned well in that company and the job role you are working as, and with 2 years of experience in a company, you will get better salary hike.

Hi,

when you are feeling that you are restless of doing work, no hike, no effort of recognition for work you do, no project assigned, etc is time for you to shift to different environment to search for career or job. If you feel that you don't like what you re doing and feeling tired of job.

Hi,

Switching your current firm is totally up to you. Once you see that the knowledge you have, but not getting the salary hike as per you should get. You can see your working environment is too boring and most importantly when you see that the level of growth is too less for you. So you can shift to any other firm which is providing you a good working environment first and the project assigned to you.
