how many jobs we can run in parallel without getting into computing resources starvation on talend box with 48 GB and with 64 GB

Hi Team,

Can anyone please help me how how many parallel jobs we can run in parallel without getting into computing resources starvation on UAT talend box. On UAT talend box we have 48 GB and PROD we have 64 GB.

It totally depends on the job you are running. Say for example if its a complex job which needs minimum 6gb ram then u can execute 6 jobs in parallel.

Why only jobs, not 8 when we have total of 48gb RAM.
Okay let me clear it up. If your jobs need only <1 GB of memory, then you can run almost  30-35 jobs in parallel (around 80% of overall memory) because you have total capacity of 48 GB.

BTW, the exact number of jobs that can be performed by a machine is not officially released by Talend.
