How to load data into MySQL database from an Excel File using Talend

I am trying to import data from an excel file into my MySQL database. For that, I have successfully established the database connection but when I am trying to retrieve the schema of my table Talend is retrieving the schema of the default CATALOG database. Please suggest how can I retrieve the schema of the required table to carry out the further process.

I think the problem lies somewhere in the database selection. Can you once make sure, you have created the required table in the connected database?

If you don’t know how to do that, I am adding few snapshots of the steps. Make sure you properly follow them.

1. Right-click on the database connection name

2. Select Retrieve Schema

3. Click on next
   

4. Now select the required table from the connected database

5. Click on next

6. You can change the table name and the schema from here. If not then click on Finish.
