Apparently one may feel he or she is at the verge of his career because of certain prevailing conditions. There may be situations where we might not be witnessing any sort of growth ( monetary as well as personal terms). This might be due a monotonous work schedule or rather our lack of interest in the particular work. But practically we can come over this situation with a good strategy and analysis of what went wrong. May be one could switch jobs or places or change the normal ways of doing things. Basically change is the only constant which can keep you going .

Not experiencing any passion or feeling challenged in what you do in your job on a daily basis, this can make your job performance suffer and it could require additional time for something to be completed because of a lack of motivation.
It you feel same,then yes.

Dead-end career means no more progress in career development. So if you stop learning and do not brush up your skills, that'll take you to dead-end career or sometimes termination from a job.

Never quit making efforts for betterment in whatever way possible and if this is the strategy followed there is probably no dead end career (only good and bad choices).

Career should be an upward graph. The minute you stop growing or learning, you should get cautious.
