I am using Puppet enterprise with windows .I have taken care of all the pre-requisites still I got the following error.

Cannot run on Microsoft Windows without the sys-admin, win32-process, win32-dir, win32-service and win32-taskscheduler gems.

How to rectify it so that I can run puppet on windows without any issues

  • This error may be because you are attempting to run Windows without required gems.

  • To resolve this error you will need to Install specified gems: 

gem install <GEM_NAME>

  • This will allow you run PE on windows without any errors.
