Career Guidance for Non IT Guy

Hi there,

I have completed my graduation in the year 2009 with Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. Hold an MBA as well.

I have overall experience of almost 8 years in BPO operations. Now, i would like to shift myself towards IT/Software sector. What courses would be best suitable for me.

Kindly guide me with future career options apt for me in IT/Software sector.

Hey, considering you educational background (Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science), one option for your career would be to go for either Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML).  Then other option can be considering the Project Manager or Pre-sales jobs etc.

  • HR - Plays a huge role in any organization.
  • Administration - Carries out various administration jobs.
  • Content Writer - Requires decent language skills. But pay really well. This includes content writing for websites, technical document writer, etc.
  • Corporate Communications - This is related to PR and not all companies have a complete department for this.
  • Accounts - Every company has accountants.
  • Finance- Every company has this department too.
