A Chief Data Officer has one/group of teams under him that work on Data Analytics and/or Data Science. A Chief Data Officer is responsible to look over all the tasks of these teams. He/She would mainly work on increasing the business benefits. He/She should report to the CEO or CFO about all the things going on in the company under his departments and discuss the changes to bring over in the present work-flow.
