Hi Apeksha, Session variables are declared inside the process or object by selecting the exposure to session. While, Environment variables are declared in system outside any process or object and once declared, need to select the exposure to environment and select from the drop down available in name of the data item.
To create an Environment Variable follow these steps:
- Go to the System –> Processes –> Environment Variables area of the product.
- Click on the Add Variable link
- Type in the name, data item type, description, and value of you environment variable
A Session Variable is created by simply changing the Exposure option for a data item in the Data Properties window from None to Session.
