I am working on jenkins and i have changed the port number to 8085 to access jenkins. when i type the url of jenkins such as localhost:8085 it displays the message unable to connect. So i was thinking to restart jenkins and then try to access this url.

On Ubuntu or Debian, when installed through apt-get/dpkg:

$ sudo /etc/init.d/jenkins restart

Usage: /etc/init.d/jenkins {start|stop|status|restart|force-reload}
