Few container resource management tools are as follows:

  • Heapster: Gathers data and events from container and pods from within the cluster
  • InfluxDB: Used with Heapster and is used to visualize the data gathered inside the Kubernetes Cluster
  • Grafana: It's a time-series database that is used to store the data captured by heapster
  • CAdvisor: Discovers all the active containers and monitors them
  • Prometheus: Provided querying, altering and visualization capabilities
