The details of recently and locally installed files can be found here /usr/local

In this directory you can get the installed files that are stored on the network. To be more specif, all the locally-installed files go to /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/lib. Another use of this directory is that it is used for keeping the software packages installed away from source.
