Does Amazon Lex come under managed services

Does Amazon Lex require managing? I want to know as is Amazon Lex a managed service? Does it require maintenance and user to scale it up or down according to the need?

Yes, Amazon lex is a completely managed service and the customer has nothing to worry for scaling the resources or maintaining the code. The schema is backed up and will be taken care by Amazon itself. There is also a option to rollback so it makes things easy. This service doesn't need storage or backup by end user so the user has nothing to worry about the storage and backups.
