To stat with Machine Learning you must be well equipped with the following:-

  • Linear algebra
  • Probability theory
  • Calculus
  • Multivariate Calculus
  • Graph theory
  • Optimization methods
  • Any programming language that is widely used for ML such as python, MATLAB or C++.

According to me necessary skills one should have to learn machine learning is Mathematics that we have learnt in our high school that is Statics,Probability and Data Modeling. with these you should known to programming language you may known to C,C++ also known to Python Language which is must.
