SLF4J: Found binding in [jar:file:/home/server/hadoop/share/hadoop/common/lib/slf4j-log4j12-1.7.10.jar!/org/slf4j/impl/StaticLoggerBinder.class]
SLF4J: See http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#multiple_bindings for an explanation.
SLF4J: Actual binding is of type [org.apache.logging.slf4j.Log4jLoggerFactory]

These are the necessary tables required for metastore that are missing in MySQL. Manually create the tables and restart hive metastore.

cd $HIVE_HOME/scripts/metastore/upgrade/mysql/

< Login into MySQL >

mysql> drop database IF EXISTS hive;
mysql> create database hive;
mysql> use hive;
mysql> source hive-schema-2.1.1.mysql.sql;

Restart Hive metastore.
