Unable to instantiate hive metastore

I am trying to initiate Hive Metastore but I have got an error that is 

unable to instantiate hive metastore

how to resolve this issue?

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:

a. Understand why HiveMetaStore service is not started. In this case, increase the physical memory of the server.

b. Then start the HiveMetaStore service manually using the root user.

service hive-metastore start
