Why am I not able to see the Hadoop daemons that are running

0 votes

According to the tutorial which I am following the jps command should list the daemons that are running. But in my case, I am not getting the list of daemons which are running. Yet all of the Hadoop services are running.

I am getting the following output:

38942 Jps

Can anyone help me in understanding the issue? Thanks in advance.

I guess you are starting the services form the sudo user. In that case you need to use sudo jps command to find the Hadoop daemons that are running.
