Is Azure Repos private repository safe to use

0 votes
Is it safe to utilise Azure Repos? In other words, can I be certain that my code will not be stolen or made public? I've set the repository to private, but I'm not sure whether that's sufficient (I'm new to version control and repositories).

What about intellectual property rights? I attempted to locate a specific Microsoft comment on the subject but was unable. Is the code in Azure Repos still mine? Can I be certain that the IP is still on my side?

The security of your project data stored in Azure DevOps is  as good as the end-user access points. Azure Repos includes free unlimited private Git repositories, making it simple to get started. Git is the most widely used version control system today, and it is quickly becoming the industry standard.
