Hi Guys,

I am new to the Hadoop Cluster. I want to create an empty file in the Cluster. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

You can create an empty file in Hadoop. In Linux, we use touch command. In the same way, we can do it in Hadoop as well.

$ hadoop fs –touchz /user/cloudera/dezyre1/Sample4.txt
