How to use existing Azure VM in Jenkins Azure VM plugin

0 votes
I already have a Linux VM that I want to connect as a slave to master.

I have added Service principal credentials and I want to make a slave that is an exisiting VM. I am already using existing resource group.Adding Azure VM template seems to be creating a new VM (if I'm not mistaken). How do I use an existing VM?

In order to use the Azure VM plugin to create VM agents, first you need to have an Azure Service Principal in your Jenkins instance.

Once you have these pre-requisites, you could use Linux Agents on Azure Cloud using SSH.

Refer for detailed information https://plugins.jenkins.io/azure-vm-agents/

Hope this helps!!
