Hi Guys,

I am trying to implement merge concept in GitHub using jenkins job. But it shows me the below error.

How can I solve this error?

You tried to merge your branch in GitHub using jenkins. But for that you have to tell your user name and user email in your jenkins job. To set your user name and user email you can follow the below given steps.

  • Go to your jenkins job.
  • Open configuration and go to source code management.
  • Go to additional behavior and set custom user name and user email.
