Hi everyone,

I am not able to start openstack-nova-cert service. It shows me below error.

$ openstack-nova-cert start
Starting openstack-nova-cert: [FAILED]

The log file /var/log/nova/cert.log revealed the below error.

ERROR nova.openstack.common.threadgroup [-] [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/CA’

Thank You

Hi@akhtar,

You may get this error because nova user doesn't have the permission. Follow the bellow given steps to solve this error.

$ Open /etc/nova/nova.conf

 And check if ‘ca_path‘ is pointing to the right directory and user ‘nova’ has permission to it.

Thank You
