Well let me start with the set of certifications offered by AWS:

Let me tell you about the major ones:

  1. AWS Certified Developer (Associate): It is for the people who are from developer back ground, here you will learn to create and deploy applications on AWS infrastructure. AWS Solution Architect will provide you the infrastructure and you have to develop applications and deploy them
  2. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate): People who are from administrator background  Eg: Linux Administrator can go for this certification. A SysOps Administrator have to look after the maintenance of server and system
  3. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional): This is for the people who have completed either AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified SysOps  Administrator – Associate certification with two or more years of hands-on experience of provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
  4. AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate):  In this certification you will be learning to design highly available and cost efficient system or architecture and also ensure that they are cost efficient. AWS architect have to interact with customers, understand their needs and come up with architecture to meet their needs
  5. AWS Certified Solution Architect: People who successfully completed AWS certified solution Architect can go for AWS Certified Solution Architect – Professional
  • AWS allows us to opt any of the professional certification without any associate level certification
  • Looking after your profession I would suggest you to go for AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certification
  • Here you will learn how to perform DevOps Strategies on AWS Platform
  • It offers set of Developer tools which are used to build, deploy and monitor your applications on AWS platform

To know about these tools have a look at this link: https://youtu.be/h0p4dxuwv1s

Also, To know about other AWS DevOps tools do visit - aws devops edureka - YouTube

  • I would suggest you to first go for AWS Developer or AWS Sysops certification where you will understand the AWS services and learn how to work with these services and also learn how to build application using Amazon Web Services
  • With the basic understanding of AWS services Later go for AWS DevOps certification where now you can easily practise DevOps strategy on AWS platform

If you want a structured training where you will be guided on how to use these services and develop applications using these services then visit edureka where you will get all these certification under single roof

I hope this helps you

Happy learning:)
