There are different site specific configuration to suggest different configuration in Hadoop:

  • conf/core-site.xml
  • conf/hdfs-site.xml
  • conf/yarn-site.xml
  • conf/mapred-site.xml.
  • conf/hadoop-env.sh
  • conf/yarn-env.sh
