Job History Server edit logs

When the application master fails,  edit logs stored the logs of the job history server. How can these edit logs?

When the application master fails, each file system change (file creation, deletion or modification) that was made after the most recent fsimage is logged in edits logs

To read the logs stored in the edit logs, open the hdfs-site.xml file.

In the hdfs-site.xml file check the http://dfs.namenode.name.dir value tag to get the location.
