Not able to start jobtracker in hadoop

Hi. I have installed everything correctly but when I run jps command, I can not see jobtracker. Hadoop version 2.2.0. Operating System Ubuntu 14.

There is no jobtracker in hadoop 2.2.0 YARN framework. It is replaced by ResourceManager and ApplicationMaster. So your jps should have the following output to show everything is running:

$jps
33719 Jps
48829 NameNode
38488 DataNode
99383 ResourceManager
27228 NodeManager
38892 JobHistoryServer
