Emulator ERROR x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration

I ran my Hello World application in Android Studio. I got the following error:

Emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!

Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.

CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!

How can I overcome this error?

You can solve this by enabling virtualization technology. Just follow these steps to do that.

• Enable virtualization technology from system Settings.
• Enter BIOS setup by pressing on F10 after the restart.
• Configuration.
• Check Virtualization technology.
