azure-devops extensions do not accept SVG files

Question

 In the azure DevOps extension project, I used a pivot table tool (webdatarocks). The tool icons are in an SVG file, but azure DevOps extensions projects do not accept SVG file types and give the following error in the publishing stage.

Error processing ... SVG file types in extension package are not supported. File at '/dist *****.svg' is of type SVG, please convert it to a different format (like PNG or JPG) and try again.

Which way should I go? I tried to use some npm packages in webpack, to convert SVG to PNG or JPEG but I failed.
