81/installed-spark-executing-command-getting-hadoop-command
I am new to Big Data, Hadoop & Spark. I just downloaded & installed Apache Spark ("spark-2.0.2-bin-hadoop2.7.tgz"). I tried to move a file from local file system to HDFS. But I got an error saying “hadoop command not found”.
For accessing Hadoop commands & HDFS, you first have to install Hadoop. I would recommend you to go through this website & install Hadoop -> https://www.edureka.co/blog/install-hadoop-single-node-hadoop-cluster One more thing to keep in mind is install Hadoop 2.7 and above as you have install Spark 2.0.2 which is compiled for Hadoop 2.7.
