I'm getting the following error when I try to use the ssh endpoint for communication with a codecommit repo.:

Access error: Public key denied when connecting to a CodeCommit repository

The main reason why this error occurs is when you haven't completed the setup for ssh connections. Configure a public key, key pair, and then associate the public key with your IAM user. This error should then disappear.
