How to update Jenkins from a war file?

Hi Guys,

I have configured Jenkins. I want to update the newer version of Jenkins from a war file. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

You need to replace the Jenkins.war file. This file is usually located in the /usr/share/jenkins folder. If this folder is not available, then go to your Manage Jenkins -> System Information, it will display the path to the .war file under executable-war.
