Which one should I choose Tableau or Power BI

Question

Can someone suggest what is the option for me (Tableau or PowerBI) under the following scenario:

1. Total number of employees in the organization: 500
2. There will be 10 designers out of 500 who are responsible for designing the dashboard using BI desktop tool
3. We using oracle 12c database as a Data Mart
4. A server is required for publishing the dashboard
5. View access to the dashboard to all the 500 employees (employees may view the dashboard either in windows, Mac, IPhone or Android device)
6. Around 100 employees will be frequent visitor (almost every day).
7. Designer may integrate/embed our dashboard to other applications for analysis
8. We have our own internal server and we don’t want to use cloud
9. We don’t want anybody to download anything on their system , just by click of web link they should be able to see the dashboard
10. The data size for analysis will be around 150GB+ as it's growing every month on month

Hi Grim,

Both the BI tools - Tableau and Power BI are very powerful and can be easily integrated to various databases and plugins. Now since you are well aware of what your data looks like or what kind of analysis you want to perform on it or what kind of dashboard you want. So I can tell pros and cons of each of them but I would suggest you to download the trail version of both the tools and check yourself which suits your organization better.
