Kitematic rejects the login attempt displays an error message Must be 4-30 lower case letters or numbers

I am trying to log into kitematic but it gives the following error:

"Must be 4-30 lower case letters or numbers.

This error is very confusing as it does not mention whether the username/email id is wrong or the password. One thing you need to know about kitematic is that unlike other logins it does not accept email-id. It only accepts username.

Make sure you do not add email id there.
