i tried to run hdfs namenode -format but i got this instead, -classpath and D:\Hadoop isn't recognized. Anyone can help? Thank you. [closed]

Have you mentioned the path properly? Make sure you have set Hadoop and Java path

yes, i've set the path in the system variable

thank you, i have to rename and re-path the hadoop path in system variable. it can run now.

Glad it worked! The "is not recognized" error always has something to do with the path of the existence of the file.
