How to modify indirectly visible data sent to client by user

0 votes
There's a web application in which the server sends some piece of data to the client which cannot be directly seen or modified by the client. And then when the client sends a request or submits some data, the immutable data is sent back to the server. I want to know if I can change the data being sent to the server when the client makes the request.

Yes, it is possible to modify this data uses interceptors. One of the best tools for this purpose would be BurpSuite. Capture the data in requests and response between the client and the server using Burpsuite and then use burpsuite interceptor and intruder to modify the request and send it to the server.

Hope this helps!
