Using the same KeyPairs across Regions

I have created a KeyPair in the North Virginia Region and the same KeyPair is not available in the Ohio Region why is it so?

The KeyPairs are Region specific and a KeyPair created in one Region won’t be visible or cannot be used in some other Region. To use the same KeyPair across Region, the KeyPair should be created outside of AWS and then imported into multiple AWS Regions as mentioned in the AWS Documentation here.
