Hive- unable to load data into table

While loading the data stored in hdfs, I am getting below error:

hive> load data inpath "/user/hive/warehouse/22jan.db/bought/customers1.txt"overwrite in
to txn3;
FAILED: ParseException line 1:85 missing TABLE at "txn3" near ""

The command you are typing is incorrect. You are missing the TABLE keyword:

hive>load data inpath "/user/hive/warehouse/22jan.db/bought/customers1.txt"overwrite in

to TABLE txn3;
