HBase shell failed to connect

Question

Hi, I am running list command in Hbase shell on Edureka VM, and getting a below error. please check.

Can"t get connection to ZooKeeper: KeeperErrorCode = ConnectionLoss for /hbase
2019-01-21 20:11:15,987 ERROR [main] zookeeper.RecoverableZooKeeper: ZooKeeper exists failed after 4 attempts

Enter the below command in the terminal before starting the Hbase shell,

cd /usr/lib/hbase-0.96.2-hadoop2/bin/

./start-hbase.sh

Start the Hbase shell after this and execute the list command.
