Hi Karthick,

It depends on your view on which is better to choose.

I would say its better to go for IT company till you find its tiring or not interested to work anymore, then switch to the teaching profession.

You should search for your passion and various options for both and chose your decision wisely.

All the best!

Hey Karthick, there are a lot of career options after M.Tech including teaching at some Engineering college or working for any IT firm. But apart from these, you can also go for any Phd program as you have experience with research

You can also apply for some govt. organizations like BHEL or ISRO or BARC or any other research based organizations for Junior or Senior Researcher role or Scientist role. You can also work in good IT or your specific domain- related companies.

You should probably make a choice based on your interests.

If teaching is something that you are passionate about then you could probably be a professor at a college along with this you could parallely continue with your research and gain a Phd.

If you think your forte is technology then there a host of opportunities in the IT sector that you can try your hands on.

In my opinion both of them are steady careers to go after!
