Using Top in filter

Hi, I'm new to Tableau. How to find the top 5 profitable products and arrange them in ascending order based on their number of sales by using top filter.

Hi Tejas,

The top filter is used to filter all items from the field domain with top N values that follow the order on aggregation(max, sum, min, avg) of fields.

Follow the below steps:

1. Drag and drop the products in the filter shelf.

2. Now go to Top pane in the edit filter dialog box and select Profit and enter N value as 5.

3. Drop product in row shelf and sales in the text field.

4. Now right click on product and cick on sort.

5. Click on x and close the sort dialog box.
