How do I choose between two career option

I am in my 7th semester and have got offer from two different companies one is giving me the job role of Software Developer and the other one is giving me the job role of Member of Technical Staff. What should I do? The pay scale is almost same. The face value of both the company is same. Please suggest as what do I do?

According to my opinion you must go for the role of Member of Technical Staff as there you will get a variety of different work that you can do. There is a better flexible environment. In the job of SD you will be stuck with just development and chances to switch to other profile will be less.

From my point of view, you should try to connect anyone from those companies or your seniors, teachers and them any experience and feedback of those companies. Check out their current technologies they are working on and projects, so later you can switch to different domain or department within. How their environment and culture, hike, career, etc. for better options.

Its totally depends on you which field you want to choose, where you want to see yourself in upcoming years.

As a fresher , in initial stage you need to struggle a bit regarding learning new technologies, but after sometime everything will be fine.

From my perspective  if you choose role of member of technical staff then i guess your work pressure will be  a bit less but as well as learning things will be less for you.

Where as if you choose your role as software developer then your chance of learning technology will be more and in future you will not face to much problem while switching your firm because already you will have experience with you. So choose wisely I will suggest.
