Is it good to do MBA after 5 years of experience

I have been working for 5 years as a Software Developer. I am not getting good hikes and promotions. So, I am planning to do MBA. Before I can decide, I wanted an opinion on whether it will be good for my career.

MBA will always boost your career on the Management side. But, MBA is not the only thing that matters. The most important thing is whether you are better than other MBA graduates or not. If you are not getting good hikes and promotions, maybe development is not really your A game, maybe you'd be better at Management. But like I previously said, it all matters on skills. If there's a person with 1 year of experience and is good at management, he might get a higher salary than you. So, prepare yourself and then you will surely be successful.

You have five years of knowledge where you are not satisfied with promotions and hikes, these all things are dependent on your performance. So MBA is an option which you can opt anytime you want, but make sure you are that much eligible and confident that after giving two of your precious time in MBA you will be responsible for your own fate. So make sure whatever you are taking up, be confident and there should not be any point of regratting later.
