Ethereum transaction not getting Updated

0 votes
I have created an Ethereum private network and created two new accounts. These accounts had zero ethers so in one account I started mining to get ethers. Once I got enough ethers, I stopped mining and sent some ethers from that account to another. Now I am checking the balance in another account, but it still shows 0 ethers. I did not get any errors and ethers got deducted from the sender account.

You have done everything right except for one thing. For the transaction to get updated in the Blockchain, it must be mined. With the miner turned off, the transaction is not getting updated and hence the receiver account is not getting updated with ethers. Keep the miner on and it’ll work.
