How to update or insert data using Athena

How can I update the table and insert new entries using Athena? Can someone help me with the commands? Thank you in advance.

Athena is a query language and as of now does not support most of the DCL commands.

You can find a list of commands that are allowed in Athena here in the documentation provided by Amazon:-

If you need to insert data in your table you will have to update that in your csv,json file re-upload it and create new table for the same.
