Error saying Error group map some junk is already registered when trying to run kubectl get nodes

I have installed all the requirements to run kubernetes on my syatem. I have created a cluster and now Executing the following command throws an error:

kubectl get nodes

error:

Error : group map (some junk)is already registered

What am I supossed to do?

Seems like the installed version of kubectl version is not campatible with your k8s cluster. Try update your kubectl to the latest version. Hope this helps:)
