Temperature sensors and Real-Time Data

I am trying to build an app that uses my device's temperature sensor to send real-time data inputs to the cloud, but I am not able to find useful resources regarding the same. Can I get any help with this?

Here are a few framework platforms to do so like IBMs:

  1. octoblu by Citrix
  2. mbed by ARM
  3. flow+M2X from ATT (they could work together although M2X will do the job)
