What happens when there is an error if you don't utilise exceptions?

You just let the programme to crash?

If you don't utilise exceptions, by definition, no code will raise an error, negating the necessity for error catching.

"We do not utilise C++ exceptions," not "We do not catch C++ exceptions," is the correct phrase.
