How can two strings be concatenated

0 votes
cbind = tmp ("GAD", "AB")
tmp # [,1] [,2]
# [1,] "GAD" "AB"
My objective is to create a single string by joining the two values in "tmp":

tmp new equals "GAD,AB"
Which feature can accomplish this for me?
