Does Azure have a FREE tier

Question

I recently started to use Azure with the goal to host this:

1. A Python Web API
2. A Blazor Web App

This is just for testing and I dont care about authentication, database or performance.

The 1-Year trial already expired for me (I tried it once and never used it...).

1. Is it possible to host my scenario in Azure for free?

2. In the "Pay-as-You-go" I have to pay approx. 70€ per month, which is ridiculous (I saw my bill just now...). I forums people say to change the subscription to the "Free Tier". But I dont have that option. Did microsoft remove this?

When you join up for a free Azure account, you'll receive USD2001 in credit to use during the first 30 days. You also get free monthly quantities of two types of services: popular services that are free for a year and more than 40 other services that are always free.
